Our Story
I'm 52, a mom of two, and I started HerBloom at my kitchen table. This is the honest version of how it happened, including the parts I'm not proud of.
This photo is from a family trip to the coast. My kids were splashing in the waves. I was on the towel in linen pants, in July, telling everyone I "wasn't in the mood to swim."
The truth? I had done everything right. I walked every morning, ate clean, lost the weight after my second pregnancy. The dimples on the back of my thighs never moved. And every year, I covered up a little more.

Every spring I'd buy a new pair of shorts, full of good intentions. Every summer they stayed in this drawer, tags still on.
I tried the creams. The dry brushing. The $90 "firming" serum. The shapewear that hid everything and changed nothing. I told myself it was my age, my genes, my fault.

For my 47th birthday, my sister booked me a lymphatic drainage massage. Halfway through, the therapist said something nobody had ever told me:
That's why my legs looked smoother at 7am than at 7pm. Why they were worse after a long flight or a day at my desk. The structure under my skin wasn't changing. The fluid was.
The problem? Those sessions cost $120 each, and the effect faded within days. I couldn't go every day. So I started reading everything I could find, night after night, at this table.

If I couldn't go to the massage every day, maybe I could wear it. Something that would press and release with every single step I already took: walking the dog, grocery runs, standing at the stove.
I found a small knitting mill willing to take my calls. Fourteen versions later, we had it: LYMPH3D™, a raised micro-relief knit with graduated compression, firmer at the ankle and lighter up the leg, so every step gently helps fluid move up and out.

Before selling a single pair, I gave them to the three women I walk with every Tuesday and Thursday. Linda is 61. Maria works 12-hour shifts on her feet. Jen had tried "every cream on the internet."
Nothing dramatic happened the first week. Around week three, Maria said her legs felt lighter at the end of a shift. Then, one Saturday in June, Linda sent me this:

I still have that message on my phone. It's the reason HerBloom exists.
We're not a big corporation. We're a small team, and on busy weeks you'll still find me in our stock room, folding leggings and writing thank-you notes by hand.
Most of the women who find us are just like I was: past 40, tired of being sold miracles, and quietly done with covering up.

If you're reading this in long pants on a warm day, I see you. I was you for eleven summers.
You don't need to fix yourself. You just need something that works while you live your life. That's all I ever wanted to build.
